Google PageSpeed Insights

Google has rolled out a major UI and data update to PSI

First noticed by Search Engine Roundtable this morning, Google has overhauled the PageSpeed Insights website, giving it a much needed Material Design look to mirror the rest of Google's products and services.

Google will now be using data from Lighthouse which is tightly integrated into the Chrome Browser in Devtools. Lighthouse is used by Lemacks Media at the end of the development cycle of our client websites to ensure the site is optimized at launch.

At this time, Google has not released any official documentation or statements about the update, however, we will be testing the updates today as it directly impacts all of our hosting clients. Lemacks Media uses the Apache PageSpeed Module in all of it's Google Cloud Platform instances.
